WHEREAS, JOHN W. McX=IE and CHRISTINE McX=IE, husband and wife

as joint tenants, has this day offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the sum of

$1,276.51 for Lot 2 Block 142 and 3E1y 3.57 feet of Lot 1 Block 142, Canal Sectiol

City of Newport Beach, as shown on a May recorded in Book 4 P
p , age 98 of Miscall-

aneous Maps, records of Orange Co-unty, California; and
6
WHKRXAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price as and for the
7
purchase price of said lot; and
8
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach deems that 11
9
is for the best interests of said City that said property be sold for the sum of
10
$1,276.51; and
11
Wes, the price offered is just, fair, and adequate and in not
12
dispropo8tionate to the real value of the property above described.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED; That said property be sold to the
14
said JOHN W. McKENZIE and CHRISTINE MCKENZIE, husband and wife as joint tenants,
15
for the sum of $1,276.51, free and clear of all encumbrances, subject to the
16
taxes for the fiscal year 1948 -49. Also subject to conditions, restrictions and
17
reservations of record. The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorised and
18
directed to execute and deliver a deed for the said property to the said party
19
upon receipt of the consideration above set forth.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of $127.66 be paid to the
21
RAHBOR INVESTMENT COMPANY, as and for their commission for the negotiating of the
22
ale of said real property to JOHN W. McEENZIE and CHRISTINE MCNZIE, husband and
23
rife as joint tenants, the said sum being a fair and reasonable commission to be
24
alowed in said sale, and said broker being a licensed realtor of the City of
25
Tewport Beach.

I hereby certify that the gbove and foregoing Resolution was duly

and regularly passed and adopted by the City Councilmof the City of Newport Beachs
