WHEREAS, FLORENCE STUARD, widow, has this day offered to the CITY
NZUORT BEACH, the sum of $1,705.00 for Lot 13, Block 141 and the NEly 3.57
of Lot 14, Block 141, Canal Section, in the City of Newport Beach, as shown
a Map recorded in Book 4, Page 98 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange
, California; and
WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price as and for the
price of said lot; and
WHEREAS, the City Council Council of the City of Newport Beach
it is for the best interests of said City that said property be sold for the
of $1,705.00; and
WHEREAS, the price offered is just, faire and adequate and is not
to the real value of the property above described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT. RESOLVEDZ That said property be Bold tP the
FLORENCE STUARD, for the sum of $1,705.00, free and clear of all encumbrano-
subject to the tames for the fiscal year 1948 -49. Also subject to conditions
and reservations of record. The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby
zed and directed to execute and deliver a dead for the said property to
said party upon receipt of the consideration above set forth,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED3 That the sun of $170.50 be paid to the
INVESTMENT COMPANY, as and for his commission for the negotiating of the
of said real property to FLORENCE STUARD, widow, the said sum being a fair
reasonable commission to be allowed in said sale, and said broker being a
licensed realtor of the City of Newport Beache
I Hereby cer6ify that the above and foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Newport
