1 WNS, Wm P. White and Bessie M White, husband and wife, has thl

2 day offered to the CITY OF NEUPORT BEACH, the sum of $1,251.25 for the Sally 21.43
3 of Lot 2 Block 143 and the NEly 3.571 of Lot 1 Block 143, Canal Section, in the
4 City of Newport Beach, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 4, Page 98 of Miscell-
5 aneous Maps, records of Orange County, California; and
6 WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price as and for
7 the purchase price of said lot; and
8 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach deems that
9 it is for the beet interests of said City that said property be sold for the said
10 sum of $1,251.25; and
11 WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair, and adequate and is not
12 disproportionate to the real value of the property above described.
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVEDS That said property be sold to
14 the said Wm. P. White and Bessie M Whites husband and wife, for the eum of
15 $1,251.25, free and clear of all encumbrances, subject to the taxes for the fis-
16 cal year 1948 -49. Also subject to conditions, restrictions and reservations of
17 record. The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorised and directed to axe-
18 cute and deliver a deed for the said property to the said party upon receipt of
19 the consideration above set forth.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVEDS That the sum of $125.13 be paid to
B.Foote, as and for his commission for the negotiating of the sale of said real
to Wm. P.White and Bessie M White, husband and Wife,$ the said sum being
fair and reasonable commission to be allowed in said sale, and said broker
licensed realtor of the City of Newport Beach.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution was duly
reguRarly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
a regular meeting thereof held on the Sth day of March, 1948, by the following
vote, to -wits
