CALIF. •v V c, RESOLUTION NO .1 o `1T A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH APPOINTING ELECTION OFFICERS AND DESIGNATING POLLING PLACES FOR THE MUNICIPAL ELEC- TION TO BE HELD IN THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH ON TUESDAY, THE 13TH DAY OF APRIL, 1948, AND PROVIDING FOR THE OPENING AND CLOSING OF THE POLLS AND THE COLTENSATION OF ELECTION OFFICERS. WHEREAS, it is necessary under the law for the City Council of the City of Newport Beach to appoint Boards of Election and to designate the polling places for the municipal election to be held in the City of Newport Beach on Tuesday, the 13th day of Apri1,1948 and to fix the compensation to be paid to election officers; and WHEREAS, it is also necessary for the City Council of the Ci of Newport Beach to fix the hours for the opening and closing of the polls for the municipal election to be held on the 13th day of April, 1948. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Newport Beach, that the polling places and the election of- ficers to act at each polling place shall be as follows, to -wit: PRECINCT NO. 1 Polling Place: Deitrich's Residence 519 - 35th Street Newport Beach Election Officers Inspector: Lucile Deitrich Judge: Clara Coon Clerk: Vala Shain Clerk: Katherine Windle PRECINCT NO. 2 Polling Place: Fire Station 2817 W. I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 22nd day of March, 1948, by the following vote, to -wit: AYES, COU4C`4MEN: NOES, COUNCILMEN: � ABSENT, COUNCILMEN: �' oLA.
