WHIMEAS. it Appears to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
that the Sewport Harbor Chamber of Commerce, a non—prof it corporation, by
reason of its facilities for the dlessmination of Information concerning the
City of Newport Beans, is an appropriate sodium for the advertising and
promotion of the City of rmport Reach; and
WHOBAS. said Newport $arbor Chamber of Commerce is willing to
act as the advertising agent of the City of Newport Beach in consideration
of the payment by the City of "art Beach to said Newport Harbor Chamber
of $*=eyes, of the ova of $1.200.00 per month; and
WHEREAS, the payment of said som is commensurate with the services
to be performed by said Newport Harbor Chamber of Commerce. arA

Beach that an agreement be entered into for said purpose.
30W. TRAMOUt BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor of the City of Wevport
Beach and the City Clark of the City of Newport Beach be and they hereby are
authorised sat directed to enter into an agreement In writing by and botwaam
the Bawport Harbor Chamber of Commerce, a non- -Drofit corporation, and the
City of Newport Beach, wherein and whereby for and in consideration of pay —
mat by said City of Newport Beach to said corporation of the awe of $1.200.00
on the let day of January. 1950 and a like am of $1.200.00 on the lot day
of each and every month thereafter until and including the let dap of June.
1950. Said corporation shall east as the advertising agent of said City and
WWI prepare and disseminate, at the expense of said corporation, descriptive
literature and other material publicising the City of IFewport for a period
of six (6) months eemmeacimg on said lot day of January. 1950•
The above and foregoing resolution was duly and regularly passed
and adopted by the City Council of the City of Newport Beach at a regular
meeting thereof hold on the .L day of 1951a by the following
