A Grant Deed dated the 20th day of October, 1949, from Ruth R.
Linn, a widow, to The City of Newport Beach, a municipal corporation)
of the sixth class of the State of California, granting to The City
of Newport Beach all that certain real property situated in the City)
of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California, described
as follows, to -wit:
A parcel of land situated in the City of Newport Beach,
County of Orange, State of California being a portion of Lot
"TT ", East Side Addition to the Balboa Tract, as said tract
is laid out and shown on a map recorded in Miscellaneous Maps
particularly described as follows:
That portion of said Lot "TT" lying between the south-
westerly prolongation of the southeasterly line of Lot 12,
Block 16, of said East Side Addition and the southwesterly
prolongation of the northwesterly line of Lot 11, of said
Block 16,
was presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach,
California.
Tff1EREUPON, Councilman L. L. Isbell made a motion, duly
seconded by Councilman Ross Greeley and carried, that said Deed
be accepted by said City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk
be instructed to record the same forthwith with the County Recorder
of Orange County, California.
That said motion was carried by the following vote, to -wit:
AYES: COUNCILMENLsj Greeley, Robertson,
Isbell, Blue, Drake
NOES: COUNCILMEN None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN None
I hereby certify the foregoing to be a true extract from the
minutes of the City Council of the City of Newport Beach at a
(regular meeting thereof held on the 14th day of February, 1950.
