The City Council of the City of Newport Beach, pursuant
to the provisions of the *street Vaostion Act of 19410, appro'v'ed
Kay 13, 1941, statutes of 1941, Chapter 250 and amendments thereto,
being Division 9, Part 3, Chapters P. send. 3, t3ectione 8320 to 5331,
Inclusive, Streets and Highs.. *ays Code,'66 h6re-by ordain, resolve
and declare as follows:
SECTION I: That the public interest and convenience rei
quire the closing; up and abandonment of a part of a street in the
City of Newport Beach, and it is the intention of the City Council
of the City of Nwogiort Beach to order the following described part
of a street in said City of Vewport Beach, County of Orange, State
of California, to be vacated, closed up and abandoned, to -wit:
Beginning at the northwesterly corner of Lot 30,
Block. 530, Laheasiterlp Addition to Newport Beach,
as shown upon map of salt Tract recorded in
Nisoellannous Map Book 5, Page 14, Records of
Orange County, California; thence northerly along
the northerly prolongation of the westerly line
of snid lot 300 a distance of (11) eleven feet
to the beginning of a. curve nn, nave to the "oath
Fast, having a radius of (1c) fifteen feet; thence
along said curve n dlstaness of :^3,56 feet through
a 3entrcl njxele of 90'�' to as point, said point being

of and, parallol to the northerly lines of Late 0

Said part of said street to be vaoate4, closed up and
abandoned, is more clearly shown on a certain map approved and
adopted by the 01t7 Counoll of the City of Newport Beach for
said vacation, olosin.; up and abandonment, by Resolution dated
February 14, 19500 and designated "Resolution No. 37660. Ref-
erence is hereby made for further particulars as to the proposed

SECTION 2: That the procoedin�;s for Vie closing up and
abandonment of the aforesaid pert of aeld street shall be had wA
taken, and the City Council of the City of Newport Beach elects
to proceed under the provisions of Vrxe "street Vacation hot of
19410, approved May 13, 1941, statutes 1941, Chapter 250 and am,
Monts thereto, being Division 9, page 3, Chapters 2 and 3, Seo-
tions $320 to 8331, inclusive, Streets and Itilghways Code.
BECTION h3l The Street superintendent of the City of
Newport Beach shall cause to be conspicuously posted along the
line of the part of said street proposed to be vacated, not more
than 300 feet apart, but not loss thnn three in all, notices of
the vacation of said start of said street. Said notloes shall
state the paesae of this heeoluticn of Intention and the time
and place of the hef,ri.nr; of all percone i ;terested is or objeetli
to the propoeed venation of said part of said street, all as re-
quired by law.
SECTION j,41, Notice is hereby given that the City Council
of the City of Nkkwport Beach does: hereby fix Monday, the 13th day
of Maroh, 1950, at the hour of seven - thirty P. M. of sold flay, in
the Council Chambers of the City of .Nev,�ort Beach, located in the
City Hall in the City of Newport Beach, as the time and place for

date set for the hearing of all persons interested in or objective
to the proposed vacation.
The above and foregoing Resolution of Intention NO-3767
was passed at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City o
Newport Beach, held on the 14th day of February, 1950, by the fol
