RESOLUTION N0. 3778 -A
RES6LUTIos OF IN"TENTION TO SELL BUILDINGS AND
PENCE AT STREET DEPARTMENT YARD.
WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beech owns certain buildings and a fence
surrounding the same at its street department yard located near the corner of
32nd Street and Lafayette Avenue in the City of Newport Beech, and
WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach has heretofore sold the real
property on which said buildings and fence are located, said sale not covering
the said buildings and fence; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach hereby finds
that it is required by public,.: interest: and convenience that said buildings
and fence be sold.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the public interest and conven-
hence requires that said buildings and fence be sold, that Monday the 10th day
of April, 1950 at the hour of 7t3O P. It. in the Council Chambers of the City
3300 Newport Boulevard, City of Newport Beech, be fixed as the time and
16 place for hearing protests to the said sale, that a notice of hearing at said
17 time and place be published at least once in the Newport - Balboa Press, a news -
18 paper of general circulation printed and published in the City of Newport Beach,
19 that Monday the 24th day of April at the hour of 7:30 P. M. in the Council
20 Chambers of the City Hall, 3300 Newport Boulevard, City of Newport Beach,le
21 hereby fixed for the taking of final action to sell said buildings and fence.
22 Said buildings and fence are described as being all of the buildings
23 and fence on said street department yard.
