at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of

and transferring his interest in said contract to the Jergins

WHMEAS, under the terms of said contract it is noces-

nary to the said D. Vs. Elliott to secure from the City of Newport

Beach its oonsent to said assignment; any

WHEREAS, it appears to be for the beet interests of the

City of Newport Reach and its citizens that the City of Newport
14
}leach give its consent to sari proposed assignment and to booms

a parUrto the assignment and assumption agreement;

NOWj THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Newport'

Beach give its consent to the assignment by D. W. Elliott to the
18
Jergins Oil Cospany of all of the interest of D. W. Elliott in
19
said contract between the City of Nevaort Beach and D. W. Elliott,
20
dated November 1, 1943, and that the City of Newport Heath become
21
a party to the assignment and the assumption agreement in oonnee-
22
tion therewith; and

BE IT MTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City Cleft
