RESOLUTION No. 3839
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING GRANT OF AID
FROM COUNTY FOR BALBOA BOULEVARD IMPROVEMENT
WHEREAS, by Resolution, dated October 30, 1950, the
City Council of the City of Newport Beach did request aid from
the County of Orange in the sum of $9,818.00, for the improve-
ment of portions of Balboa Boulevard; and,
WHEREAS, the County of Orange, by Resolution dated
November 14, 1950, did grant the aid requested upon certain
conditions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of
Newport Beach does hereby accept the aid to be granted by the
County in accordance with its Resolution of November 14, 1950,
upon the following conditions, as set out therein:
1. That the amount thereof shall be payable upon the
completion of said project by the City of Newport Beach and
upon submission to the County of Orange of such evidence of the
completion of the project and the cost thereof as may be deemed
necessary by the County of Orange.
2. That the work performed on said project shall
conform to the specifications of the Road Department of the
County of Orange.
3. That if the project herein mentioned is not com-
pleted by the City of Newport Beach on or before the 14th day
of November, 1951, then the grant of said herein shall forth-
with, from and after said date, be null and void and of no
further force and effect, and no moneys shall be payable here-
under.
4. That upon the written acceptance by the City of
Newport Beach of the terms and conditions hereof, this Resol-
ution, the Resolution of the City Council of the City of New-
port Beach requesting aid, dated October 30, 1950, and all

applicable laws shall constitute the agreement between the County
of Orange and the City of Newport Beach respecting the grant
herein.
The above and foregoing resolution was duly and re-
gularly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 27th day
of November, 1950, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Finch, Drake, Blue, Greeley, Isbell
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT COUNCILMEN: None
