W&ERWO the City of Newport Beach has, by Less*
dated January 9, 1950, leased to J. A. Beek and others, certain
property belonging to the City, a portion of which is known as
the Balboa Yacht Basin, and whereas the said Lease provides
that the City shall consent to the sub. - leasing of sny portion
of said leased property; and
wH1=AS, the said Balboa Yacht Basin, a eo- partner-
ship,has asked that the City consent to a sub -lease by the
Balboa Yacht Basin to Balboa Marine Rardware Company of the
hardware store heretofore existing at said Balboa Yacht Basin;

WXZRW, it is deeded to be for the best interests of
the citizens Of the City of Newport Beach that the City consent
to said 61m)..1ease;
NOW$, ?I EPORB, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of New-
port Beach hereby consents to the sub - leasing by the Balboa
Yacht Basin to Balboa Marine Hardware Company of the hardware
store located at the Balboa Yacht Basin and the Mayor and City
Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to affix their signa-
tures to such a consent.
She above and foregoing Resolution was duly passed
and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach held on the z, 7-1 day of C ,
19500 by the following vote, to wit:
