1 WHEREAS, JAMES BATS STODDARD AND FLORENCE ALDn 8'ftiD-
2 DARD, husband and wife as jo' tenants, have offered to deed the
3 property hereinafter described to the City of Newport Beach for the
4 consideration of seventeen dollars and fifty cents ($17.50); and
5 WHEREAS, the said offer has been accepted, and
6 WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City of bewpo
7 Beach a deed from said James Bates Stoddard and Florence Ald" Stod
8 dard to the City of Newport Beach, being dater January 21, 1952 and
9 covering the following described real property situated in the City
10 of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California:
11 A portion of Lot 1, Record of Survey, Miscell-
aneous *'taps, Book 12, Page 35, of Tract No.
12 1026, Miscellaneous daps, Book 33, page 38,
Records of Orange County, California, and more
13 particularly described as follows:
14 Beginning at the most Easterly corner of said
Lot 1; thence Northwesterly on a straight line
15 to a point in the Northwesterly line of said
Lot 1, said point belnrr 2.06 feet Southwest -
16 erly of the most Northerly corner of said Lot
1; thence Northeasterly along said Northwesterly
17 line to said most Northerly corner; thence,.
Southeasterly along the Northeasterly line of
18 said Lot 1, to the point of beginning.

20 W EREAS, it appears to be for the best interests of the
21 citizens of the City of Newport Beach to accept and approve said
22 Deed.

25 property is accepted and approved by the City of Newport Beach and
26 is hereby ordered recorded.
27 The above and foregoing. Resolution was duly passed
28 and ador,ted at Fx regular meeting of the City Council of the City
29 of Newport Beach held on the 11th day of February, 1952, by the fol-
