RESOLUTION APPROVINS W SHOWING A POMIPH OF A STREE'P,
DESI4NATED AS THE OCEAN FRONT
BETWEEN LUOONiA STREET AND WALNUT STREW
IN THE CITY OF "PORT BEACH,
WHICH IA PROPOSED TO SE VACATED, CLOSED UP AND ABANDONED.
WHEREAS, the City Engineer of the City of Newport Beach
has presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach a
certain map showing a portion of a certain street which the City
of Newport Beach proposed to vacate, close up and abandon on fAe
Ocean Front, in the City of Newport Beach, and which portion of
said street is described as follows, to wit:
Be gi nning at a point in the Northeasterly line of Ocean
Front, said point of beginning also bet the most South-
erly corner of Lot it Block E, seashore Colony Tract, re-
corded in Miscellaneous 31aps, Book 7* Page 25, records
of orange County, California: thence Northwesterly along
said Northeasterly line of Ocean Front, thirty toot (30')
thence Southwesterly parallel to the Southwesterly pro-
longation of the Northwesterly line of said Lot 1 to an
Intersection with a line fifteen feet (151). measured
at right angles Southwesterly of and pparallel to said
Northeasterly line of Ocean Front: thenee Southeasterly
along said parallel line to an intersection with the
Southwesterly prolongation of the Southeasterly line of
said Lot 1: thence Northeasterly along said Southwest-
erly prolongation to the point of beginning.
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED, that said Nap be, and
the same is hereby, approved and the City Cleft of the City of
Newport Beach is hereby ordered and directed to file the same in
the proceedings for the abandonment of said portion of said street
and that said map be used in connection with the Resolution of
Intention this day passed in reference to the abandonment of said
portions of said Street.
The above and foregoing Resolution was du30 passed and
adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City at
Newport Beach, held on the filth day of September, 1952, by the fo1-
