2 WHEREAS, pursuant to Notice Inviting Bids for the re.
3 surfacing of certain streets in Corona del Mar, in the City of
4 Newport Beach, heretofore duly given, sealed proposals and bids
5 thereof were duly received and, at the time and place set for
6 said purpose, duly opened and it appearing that the lowest rego.
7 lar and responsible bidder is R, J. Noble Oompauy; and
8 WHZ'1We there has been duly presented to the City Coun-
9 oil of the City of Newport Beach a certain agreement dated the Sth
10 'day of September, 1952, by and between said R. J. Roble Company
11 and the City of Newport Beach, providing for said improvement of
12 said streets.
13 NOW. THEREFORE# BF, IT RESOLVED, that said bid of said
14 R.J. Roble Company for said improvement of certain streets in the
15 City of Newport Beach for the total sum of 06,608.40 be, and the
16 sass is hereby, accepted] and
17 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said contrast for said osm.
18 struotion in accordance with the plans and specifications on file
19 with the City Clark of said City at said price of 46,608.40 be and
20 the same is hereby awarded to said R.J. Noble Company; and
21 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City Cloft
22 be, and they are hereby. authorized and instructed to execute said
23 agreement in the name of and for and on behalf of the City of New -
24 port Beach and the City Clerk furnish a duly executed copy thereof
25 to said R.J. Noble Company.
26 The above and foregoing Resolution was duly and regul..
27 arly parsed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Newpor!
28 Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 8th day of Septs%-
29 bore 1952, by the following vote, to wits
