A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO AXNER,
AND GIVING NOTICE THEREOF
MEAN, there is situated outside and contiguous to
the City of Newport Beach a certain uninhabited area as herein-
after more p"tioularly described; and
'sue, the owners of saki paroel have expressed them-
solves as desirous of having the same annexed with the City of
Newport Beach; and
MRS, it would be for the best interests for the
City of Newport Reach and its citizens for the City of Newport
Reach to annex the said hereinafter described property; and
VHERUSO the City of Newport Beach did, on or about
December 9, 1952, submit to the Orange County Boundary Commission
a legal description and plat of said hereinafter described =in-
habited area for its approval, pursuant to Section 35002 of the
Goverment Code of the State of 0911fornis; and
WHERrAS, the approval of said Orange County Boundary
Commission has been secured;
NNW. TJiSR WORt, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the following declarations and no-
%lee be made and givens
IT IS MML13Y DECLARED, that proceedings have been in.-
itlated by the said City of Newport peach, a City of the 6th Cie,
to annex the said real property as hereinafter described, which
said real property is contiguous to the present boundaries of said
City of Newport Beach. and which property is, at the present tine,
completely uninhabited.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that it is proposed by said City
of Newport Reach to annex the hereinafter described real property
to the City of Newport Beach, which sa14 real property shall, in
these proceeding®, bear the name "Five Parcel Annexation ". The
specific .description of the boundaries of the torritorr so propos-
ed to be annexed are as follows:

after as the matter may be heard, at the Council Chambers of tha
City Hall of the City of New.Port Beach, 3300 West Newport Blvd.,
Newport Beach, California, a hearing will be had at which hearing

pear and object to the proposed annexation and show cause, why

The above and foregoing Resolution was duly and rogul-
arly passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council
Of the City of Newport Seach, held on the 26th day of January,
