RESOLUTION NO. 4097

WHEREAS, pursuant to instrua -ions, the City Attorney of
:he City of Newport Beach, Californ3;a has prepared a contract
.n which the City of Newport Beach agrees to sell certain
excess water of said city to The Irvine Company
ipon the conditions, covenants and restrictions in said
=tract set forth; and
WHEREAS, said contract has been duly presented by the
:ity Attorney to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach,
or its acceptance and approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That that certain
;ontract made and entered into the 1st day of June , 19 53
)y and between the City of Newport Beach, as the party of
;he first part, and The Irvine Company
is the party of the second part, wherein and whereby the City
)f Newport Beach agrees to sell certain of its excess water
xpon certain conditions, restrictions and limitations to said
?arty of the second part, be and the same is hereby approved
is written.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
end regularly passed by the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach at a regular meeting thereof.held on the 13th day of
July 19 53, by the following vote, to -wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Smith, Finch, Isbell,
Bennett, Miller
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
