RESOLUTION NO. 4100
WHEREAS, pursuant to instructions, the City Attorney of
he City of Newport Beach, California has prepared a contract
n which the City of Newport Beach agrees to sell certain 1
xcess water of said city to The Hedges Oil Company
pon the conditions, covenants and restrictions in said
;ontract set forth; and

WHEREAS, said contract has been duly presented by the
pity Attorney to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach,
.'or its acceptance and approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That that certain
;ontract made and entered into the 1st day of June , 19 53
)y and between the City of Newport Beach, as the party of
;he first part, and The Hedges Oil Company
is the party of the second part, wherein and whereby the City
)f Newport Beach agrees to sell certain of its excess water
xpon certain conditions, restrictions and limitations to said
party of the second part, be and the same is hereby approved
is written.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
►nd regularly passed by the City Council of the City of Newport
3each at a regular meeting thereof held on the 13thday of
July , 1953 , by the following vote, to -wit:
