RESOLUTION NO. ;j:!24
W REA5, there has this day been presented to the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach a certain Agreement dated
August 10, 1953, between the City of Newport Beach and John
Charles Kirk, covering the operation of the concession on the
Balboa pier owned by the City of Newport Beachs said Agreement
being for a period of three years at a yearly sum of $100.00
per year; and
WHEREAS, it appears to be for the best interests of the
citizens of the City of Newport Beach that the said Agreement
be entered into;
NOWt THER17ORE, BE IT WESOLVED,) that the Mayor and the
City Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorised and directed to
execute said Agreement in behalf of the City and to. deliver an
executed copy thereof to the said concessionaire, John Charles
Kirk.
The above and foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 10th day of
August, 19539 by the following vote, to -wits
