WHEREAS pursuant to Notice Inviting Bids for the construe.
tioa of a Sanitary SewW main and Connections in 36th, 35ths Finley,
and Short Streets$ in WoY - : #ewporti heretofore duly g0m, sealed
proposai.s and bids therefoirsse duly received ands at the time any
place set for:said purposes duly opened# and it appearing that the
lowest regular and responsible bidder is L. Castillo & RussoU L.
Thibodo Construction Companyl and
WHEREAS$ there has -amen duly presented to the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach a certain Agreement dated the 25th de;
of January# 199+8 by and between said L. Castillo & Russell L.
Bodo Construction Company *Ad the City of Newport Beach providing
for said improvement;
NOW, THREMRss B$ IT RELOLVED, that said bid of said
L. Castillo B Russell L. Thibodo Construction Company for said
construction of said sanitary sewer main for the total sum of
$11,440.70 beg and the same is hereby, accepted; and
BE IT F[JRTHBR RESOLVED, that said contract for said con-
struction in accordance with the plans and specifications on file
with the City Clerk of said City, at said price of $1191i4o.70 be#
and the same is hereby, awarded to said L. Castillo & Russell L.
Thibodo Construction Company; and
BE IT FURTHBR.RESOLVED# that the Mayor and City Clerk beg
and they are hereby# authorized and instructed to execute said
Agreement in the name of and for and on behalf of the City of New-
port Beachg and that the City Clerk furnish a duly executed copy
thereof to said L. Castillo & Russell L. Thibodo Construction Com-

The above and foregoing Resolution No. 4201 was duly and
regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
port Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 25th day of
January, 1954, by the following roll call votes to wits
