RESOLUTION N0. 4202
Awarding Contract
WHEREAS,, pursuant to Notice Inviting Bids for the dr
of the Grand Canal on Balboa Islands heretofore duly
proposals and bids therefor were duly received and,, at.-the time
and place set for said purpose,, duly opened,, and it aposing the
the lowest regular and responsible bidder is Trautwein Broses and
WHEBEAf,, there has been duly presented to the City Counci
of the City of Newport Beach a certain Agreement dated the 25th
day of Januarys. 19542 by and between said Trautwein Bros.,, and
City of Newport Beach providing for said work.
NOW,, THEREFORE,, BE IT RESOLVED, that said bid of said
Trautwein Bros.* for said dredging of the Grand Canal on Balboa
Island for the sum of $4 ,,700.00 bet and the same is herebyg°
cepted; and
BE IT FUSTHBR RESOLVED,, that said contract in accordance
with the plans and specifications on file with the City Clerk of
said City at said price of :x+,,,700900 beg and the same is hereby,,
awarded to said Trautwein Bros.$ and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,,, that the Mayor and the City Clerk
bet and they are hereby,, authorized and instructed to execute s&
Agreement in the name of and for and on behalf of the City of Nei
port Beacht and that the City Clerk furnish a duly executed copy
thereof to said Trautwein Broses
The above and foregoing Resolution Noe 4202 was duly and
regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 25th day
