WHEREAS, by Resoluoion No. 421$, adopted by this Coun-

Company to erect certain structures on certain property bring

outside the City of Newport Beach; and
allel with and 20 feet distant Easterly from

WHEREAS, it now appears by a request of the Monterey
Easterly line of the Sewer and Road Easement

Oil Company that the property designated in Resolution No. 4218
the City of Newport Beach; thence at a right
7
was not suitable for the said purposes, but that the hereinafter
110.0 feet Easterly; thence at a right angle
8
described property is suitable for such purposes; and
feet Northerly; thence at a right angle 110.00 feet

WHEREAS, it appears to be for the best interests of the

citizens of the City of Nevp ort Beach that the request for the
11
redesignation of the site of said structures be granted;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWSs

(1) That Resolution No.'4218 of the City Council is
14
hereby rescinded and cancelled;
15
(2) That permission is hereby given to Monterey Oil Com-
16
pany to establish permanent storage talks and other structures
17
permitted by the terms of the so- called Elliott Contract on the
18
following described property: lying in the County of Orange) Stat
19
of California:

Beginning at a point South 5218± feet and
21
East 2079+ feet from the Northwest corner of
22
Section 20, Township 6 South) Range 10 West,
23
S.B.B.&M, in the County of Orange, State of
24
California; thence South 120 440 35" East
25
350.0 feety such line being substantially par -
26
allel with and 20 feet distant Easterly from
the
27
Easterly line of the Sewer and Road Easement
of

the City of Newport Beach; thence at a right
angle

110.0 feet Easterly; thence at a right angle
350.0

feet Northerly; thence at a right angle 110.00 feet

Westerly to the point of beginning.
