RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE

CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH ADOPTING BUDGET AND APPROVING
•

MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT FOR EXPENDITURE OF
4
GAS TAX ALLOCATION FOR MAJOR CITY STREETS.

WHEREAS, a memorandum of agreement has been presented
6
to be entered into with the State of California in accord -
7
ance with a project statement submitted by the City of
8
Newport Beach for expenditure of the gas tax allocation
9
to cities for the fiscal year 1955, and
10
WHEREAS, the city council has heard read said agree -
11
ment in full and is familiar with the contents thereof;
12
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the city council of the
13
City of Newport Beach that said project statement be and it
14
is hereby adopted as the budget of proposed expenditures of the
15
gas tax allocation to cities, and said agreement be and the same
16
is hereby approved and the mayor and the city clerk are directed
17
to sign the same on behalf of said City, said agreement to be
18
binding upon the City upon its execution by the authorized
19
officials of the State.
