SECONDS Resolved, that the rate per eentum of the tax hereinafter levied shall be and is hereby fixed as the sum of eighty cents (800) on each One Hundred Dollars (0100.00) of value, designated for each fund as followss For current expense funds .Seventy -five cents (750) For the Library Funds Five cents ( 50) Total Tax Levy$ Eighty cents (800) THIRDS Resolved, that in addition to all other taxes herein above levied there is hereby levied on all the taxable property within the City of Newport Beach, a tax of four cents (40) on each One Hundred Dollars (4100.00) for adv®rtising purposes, pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance Flo. 144 sub- mitted to and carried by a majority of the votes of all the voters at an election held for the purpose of voting for or against said ordinance on the 24th day of September, 1918. FOURTHS Resolved, that in addition to all other taxes hereinabove levied, there is hereby levied on all of the taxable property within the City of Newport teach a tax of three cents (30) on each One Hundred Dollars (8100.00) of -1- 1 2 3 4 5 s 7 8 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 M 27 Kfl 29 30 31 32 assessed valuation, for.;..park purposes, pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 380 of the City of Newport reach, submitted to and carried by a majority of the votes of all. voters voting at an election held for the purpose of voting for or against said ordinance on May 28, 1938. FIFTHS Resolved, that in addition to all other taxes hereinabove levied, there is hereby levied on all of the taxable property within the City of Newport Reach a tax of twelve cents (12¢) on each One hundred Dollars (100.00), said amount estimated by the City Council of the City of Newport Beach to be required to provide sufficient revenue to meet the obligation of the City to the Retirement System under Section 58—c of the "State Employees Retirement Act" Statutes of 1931, page 1442, and amendments there- to, as well as sufficient under sub - section 5 of Section 38C of the same Act, and said rate of taxation is in addition to the annual rate of taxation allowed by law to be levied in the City of Newport Beach, SIXTHS Resolved, that in addition to all other taxes hereinabove levied for municipal purposes, there is hereby levied on all of the taxable property within the City of Nemprt Beach, excepting upon property annexed on and after November 1, 1943, a tax for the purpose of raising the necessary and sufficient money to pay the annual interest on all issued, outstanding and unpaid municipal bonds of the City of Newport 8vad), and also such part of the principal thereof as shall become due before the time for fixing the next general tax levy in and for said City, the rate hereby levied for said purposes is fixed at ten cents (100) on each One Hundred Dollars (6100.00) of value and the same shall be collected at the some time and in the same manner as all other municipal taxes are collected.
