WHIRS" the City �ineer of the City of Fewj'ort Beach has
presented to tie City Council of the City of Newport Beach a cer-
tain map showing a portion of a eertain street which the City of
Newport Beach proposes to vacate, close up and abandon in the City
of Newport Beach and which portion of said street is described as
follows, to wit:
A portion of W County Road, fifty (50)
feet in width, as shown upon a map of Tract No. 27
recorded in Yiscellaneous Maps Book 9, Page 26,
Records of Orange County, California, and more
particularly described as followss
Beginning at the most southerly corner of
Lot 4a Block 11 as shown upon a map of said Tract
270, 2!; thence northwesterly along the southwesterly
line of said Lot 4 and its northwesterly prolongation
and along the southwesterly line of Lot 1 of said
Block 1 to the most westerly corner of said Lot 1;
thence southwesterly along the southwesterly pro-
longation of the northwesterly line of said Lot 1
to an intersection with the northeasterly prolonga-
tion of the northwesterly Tins of Lot 1 as shown
upon a map of Tract ho, 464, recorded in Miscellaneous
Maps Book 92, Fag* 1; thence southwesterly along said
northeasterly prolongation to the most northerly cor-
ner of said Lot 1; thence southeasterly along the
northeasterly line of said Lot 1 of Tract i;o, 464 to
an intersection with the southwesterly prolongation
of the southeasterly line of the aforementioned Lot
1+10 Block 1 of Tract No, 273 thence northeasterly
ang the last mentioned southwesterly prolongation
to the point of beginning,

same is hereby, approved aL.d the City Clerk of the City of Newport
Beach is hereby ordered and directed to file the same in the pro-
ceedings for the abandonment of said portion of said street and
that said map be used in connection with the F�esolution of Intenti,
this day passed in reference to the abandonment of said portion of
said Street,
The above and foregoing Resolution was duly passed and
adopted at a regular meeting of the City ouncil of the City of
Newport Beach, held on the i3,' day of «=� , 1954, by the
following roll call vote, to wits
