AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT
1 WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City of Newport
• 2 Beach this 27th day of December, 1954, a certain agreement by and
• 3 between the State of California, Office of Civilian Defense, and
4 the City of Newport Beach, wherein said City and State agree to
5 certain rovisions more
P particularly set forth in the attached
6 agreement.
7 AND, WHEREAS, said State has furnished the City of Newport
8 Beach at the State's sole cost the following radiation detection
9 devices for monitoring service:
10 Two (2) Ion Chamber Instruments, State Numbers 6643
ill & 6644; Serial Numbers 2210 and 2211.
iz11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City
1311 Clerk are hereby instructed and authorized to execute said
14 agreement for and on behalf of the City of Newport Beach.
15 The above and foregoing Resolution No. 4289 was duly and
16 regularly passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City
17 Council of the City of Newport Beach held on the 27th day of
18 December, 1954, by the following roll call vote, to wit:
19 AYES, COUNCILMEN: Broering, Smith, Ridderhof, Hi .1
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
20 ABSENT, COUNCILMEN: Bennett
