necessary to desiguate the proper..officer of the City of cu-
port Beach to sigt checks, drafts, or other orders for the.
payment of money craven in the'Cityss name; and

orized to sign such documents;

hereby requested, authorized-and directed to honor all checks,

drawn to the individual order of any person or person; -whose
names appear thereon as signor or signovs thereof) i,hon bearing
or purporting to beLr the signature of the Director of Finance
