RESOLUTION NO. 4300
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach a certain Amendment of Contract
between the City of Newport Beach and Monterey Oil Company, a
Delaware corporation, and Humble Oil & Refining Company, a Texas
corporation, the contractor, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of Newport Beach has hereto-
fore considered the terms and conditions of said Amendment of
Contract and that said terms and conditions are reasonable and it
appears that the consideration is full and adequate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and the
City Clerk be, and they are hereby authorized and directed to
execute said Amendment of Contract in the name of and for Ahd
on behalf of the City of Newport Beach.
The above and foregoing resolution was duly and reg
passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 31st day of
January, 1955, by the following roll call vote, to wit:
