RESOLUTION 140. 4317
WMF.AS, the 04ty Charter of the City of Newport Beach
provides that the City Council may provide by resolution for the
Payment to the Xayror of an allowance not exceeding $50.00 per
month to reimburse her For the additional demands made upon her
and expenses incurred by her in serving as Mayor; and
Wmsas,. the City Council is desirous of allo:iing such
payment to tPe Mayor;
NOW, THEUIFORE, BE IT RESOLVZD by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the Mayor of said City be allowed
the sum of $50.00 per month to reiraburse her for the additional
demands made upon her and expenses incurred by her in serving as
Mayor.
The above and foregoinp, resolution was duly and
regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach at a re .gular meetinG thereof held on the filth day
of April, 19552 by the followinG roll call vote., to wit:
