RESOLUTION NO. 4446
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach has
heretofore considered the annexation of real property herein re-
ferred to as the Helipot Annex, which is hereinafter described;
WHEREAS, said real property is in unincorporated territory -
situated in the County of Orange, State of California; and
WHEREAS, the said real property is uninhabited and cont
to the City of Newport Beach within the meanning of the Annexati
of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939; and
WHEREAS, it appears to be for the best interest of the owne
of said real property and for the citizens of the City of Newpor
Beach that said real property be annexed to the City of Newport
Beach;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach submit a proposal and map to the County
Boundary Commission of Orange County, State.of California, in
accordance with the Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of
1939; that the proposal shall request sa }d Boundary Commission
to determine the definiteness and certainty of the boundaries
and other matters affecting the proposed boundaries of the real
property referred to as the Helipot Annex and which is describes
Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof as though set
out in full herein; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Clerk of
City of Newport Beach, be and they are hereby authorized to exe
said proposal on behalf of the City of Newport Beach to be veri
by the said City Clerk and to file same with said Boundary Com-
mission of said Orange County.
The above and foregoing Resolution was duly passed and ado
at a meeting of the City Council of the City of Newport Beach h
on the 20th day of February, 1956, by the following vote, to wit:

Higbie, Ridderhof, Hill
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT, COUNCILMEN: MacKay

CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, .PROPOSAL FOR DETERMING THE
DEFINITENESS AND CERTAIM OF THE
Proponent BOUNDARIES OF THE HELIPOT ANNEX
WHMMSO the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
on the 20th day of February, 1956, duly and regularly passed and
adopted Resolution No._ which is attached hereto and
made a part hereof, requesting that this proposal for annexation
be submitted to the County Boundary Commission of Orange County,
State of California, and authorising the Wor and City Clerk to
execute and file same with said Boundary Commission on behalf of
the City of Newport Seachj and
WHEREAS, the real property, hereinafter described, and
referred to -as the Helipot Annex is unincorporated territory and
situated in the County of Orange, State of California; and
WHEREAS,* the said real property is uninhabited and con-
tiguous to the City of Newport Beach within the meaning of the
annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939;
ARE, the City of Newport Beach, as proponents, in
accordance with the annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of
19390 respectfully request that the tPunty Boundary Commission
determine the definiteness and certainty of the boundaries and
other matters affecting the proposed boundaries of the real
property set forth on a map attached hereto and made a part
hereof and which is described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and
made a part hereof as though set out in full herein.

parcel of land granted to the City of Newport Beach by deed dated January 27,
19199 and recorded in Book 930, Page 22 of aseda, Records of Orangs County,
State of California, said angle point also being in a line lying 30 feat
southeasterly of and parallel to the northwesterly line of Lot 1699 Block 2,
of Irvine's Subdivision as shorn upon a amp recorded In Miscellaneous Book It
Page 88, Records of said Orange Countyh thence southwesterly along said
parallel line a distance of 699.00 Bret; thence southeasterly parallel to the
southwesterly line of said parcel granted to the City of Newport Beach to a
point of intersection with the northwesterly line of the 60 feat right of way
described in dead to the state of California recorded In Bank 6831 Page 246,
of Official records of said Orange Countyh said point of intersection lying
in the boundary line of the City of Newport Boachh thence northeasterly along
said northwesterly line and along said City Boundary line to an intersection
with the southwesterly line of the aforewentiened parcel of land granted to
the City of Newport Beach; thence northwesterly albnq said southwesterly
line and along said City boundary lino to the point of beginning.
