RESOLUTION NO. 4450
WHEREAS, There has been presented to the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach a certain "Agreement for
State Administration of Local Sales and Use Taxes" for the pur-
pose of carrying out Part 1.5 of Division 2 of the Revenue
and Taxation Code and the sales and use tax ordinance of the
City of Newport Beach, con!,tting of five pages; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach has considered the matter and it appears to be for the
best interests of the citizens of the City of Newport Beach
that said "Agreement for State Administration of Local Sales and
Use Taxes" be entered into;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and
the City Clerk bey and they are hereby, authorized and directed
to execute said agreement on behalf of the City.
The above and foregoing resolution was duly regularly
passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 27th day of
February, 1956, by the following vote, to wit%
