Resolution No. 4589
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach an Agreement, wherein and whereby
Newport Sands, a Partnership, guarantees to the City of Newport
Beach that it will construct water lines, sewer lines, cement
work, pavement, street lights, and street surveys, and any other
improvements shown on the improvement plans heretofore approved
by the City Engineer; said improvements to be located in Tract No
3162; and
WHEREAS, said Agreement provides that Newport Sands shall
file with the City of Newport Beach a bond in the amount of not
less than $75,000 to assure full and faithful performance; and
WHEREAS, the said Newport Sands has submitted to the City of
Newport Beach said bond in the amount of $75,000 ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the said Agreement between
Newport Sands and the City of Newport Beach be, and the same is
hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorize
and directed to execute the same for, and on behalf, of the City
of Newport Beach, and the City Clerk shall transmit an executed
copy thereof to the said Newport Sands.
The above and foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach, at a regular meeting thereof, held on the 14th day of
January, 1957, by the following vote, to wit:
