Herbert Brownell and the City of 'Newport Beach; and SAS, the City Council has heretofore considered the terms and conditions of said agreement and said terms and conditions are reasonable and equitable. NOWO TUERWORE,* BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute said amendment to agreement in the name of and for and on behalf of the City of Newport Beach. This service includes analyzing the bids of the contractors, assistance in the prepamtIon of the ag ants, the approval of all bills for pay - Monte to the contractors, the Sapirag of a record of payments nada, and rendering architectural supervision of the worts. The Architect will endeavor to protect the City against any deficiencies in the work of the contractors, but does not Warentee the petr- fwnzuae of their contracts. The Architectural 9uparvision is the customary supervision of the Architect.
