As' A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH ADOPTING A MAP SHOWING PORTIONS OF CERTAIN STREETS KNOWN AS SHORE AVENUE, WAVE STREET, HELIOTROPE AVENUE, IRIS AVENUE, JASMINE AVENUE, LARKSPUR AVENUE AND NARCISSUS AVENUE, AND CERTAIN ALLEYS WHICH ARE PROPOSED TO BE VACATED, CLOSED UP AND ABANDONED. WHEREAS, the City Engineer of the City of Newport Beach has presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach a certain map entitled "Map of Vacation of Streets and Alleys Main Beach Corona Del Mar Drwg. No. L -2506 Date Mar. 27, 1957 ", showing portions of certain streets known as Shore Avenue, Wave Street, Heliotrope Avenue, Iris Avenue, Jasmine Avenue, Larkspur Avenue and Narcissus Avenue, in the City of Newport Beach, which the City is considering vacating, closing up and abandoning and which portions are more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof by this reference; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said map be and is hereby approved and adopted and the City Clerk is ordered and directed to file the same in the proceedings for the abandon- ment of said portions of said streets and alleys; and that said map be used in connection with the Resolution of Intention being adopted this day in reference to the abandonment of said portions of said streets and alleys. HILL Mayor 18� Parcel is All that portion of Shore Avenue (formerly known as Ocean Avenue) 50 feet in width as shown upon a map of Corona Del Mar recorded in Miscellaneous Map Book 3, pages 41 & 42, Records of Orange County, California, and more particularly described as follows to wit: Beginning at the most westerly corner of Block A -34 as shown upon said map of Corona Del Mar; thence southeasterly along the southwesterly line of said Block A -34 to the most southerly corner thereof; thence southeasterly in a straight line to the most westerly corner of Lot 8, Block A -35 as shown upon said map of Corona Del Mar; thence continuing southeasterly along the northeasterly line of said Shore Avenue to the intersection with ` e centerline of Larkspur Avenue (formerly known as 37th Avenue) 50 feet in width as shown Upon said map of Corona Del Mar; thence southwesterly along said centerline to an inter- section with the southwesterly line of said Shore Avenue; thence northwesterly along said southwesterly line of Shore Avenue to an intersection with the southwesterly prolongation of the northwesterly line of aforementioned Block A -34; thence northeasterly along said southwesterly prolongation to the point of beginning. Parcel 2: All that portion of Shore Avenue (formerly known as Ocean Avenue) 50 feet in width as shown upon a map of Corona Del Mar recorded in Miscellaneous Map Book 3, pages 41 and 42, Records of Orange County, California, and more particularly described as follows to wit: Beginning at the point of intersection of the southwesterly line of Shore Avenue and the southwesterly prolongation of the center line of Larkspur Avenue (formerly known as 37th Avenue) 50 feet in width as shown upon said map of Corona Del Mar; thence south- easterly along the southwesterly line of said Shore Avenue, 50 feet in width, to an inter- section with the southeasterly line of Narcissus Avenue (formerly known as 40th Avenue) 50 feet in width, as shown upon said map of Corona Del Mar; thence northeasterly along said southeasterly line to an intersection with a line lying southwesterly of, distant 5 feet from, and parallel with the center line of said Shore Avenue; thence northwesterly along said parallel line to an intersection with the centerline of said Larkspur Avenue; thence southwesterly along said centerline to the point of beginning. Parcel 3: All that portion of Heliotrope Avenue (formerly known as 34th Avenue) 50 feet in width as shown upon a map of Corona Del Mar, recorded in Miscellaneous Map Book 3, pages 41 and 42, Records of Orange County, California and more particularly described as follows to wit: Beginning at the most southerly corner of Block A -34 as shown upon said map of Corona Del Mar; thence northeasterly along the southeasterly line of said Block A -34 to an intersection with the northwesterly prolongation of the southwesterly line of Lot 26, Block A -35 as shown upon said map of Corona Del Mar; thence southeasterly along said north- westerly prolongation to the most westerly corner of said Lot 26; thence southwesterly along the northwesterly lice of said Block A -35 to the most westerly corner of Lot 8 of said'Block A -35; thence northwesterly in a straight line to the point of beginning. Parcel 4: All that portion of Iris Avenue (formerly known as 35th Avenue) 50 feet in width, a certain portion of the alley 12 feet in width, and a portion of Lots 8, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, and 22 of Block A -36 as shown upon a map of Corona Del Mar recorded in Miscellaneous Map Book 3, pages 41 and 42, Official Records of Orange County, California, an easement or Right of ?day for highway purposes having been granted to the City of Newport Beach over said lots 8, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, and 22 by the Citizens National Trust and Savings Bank of Los Angeles, ' alifornia, in Grant of Easement recorded the 27th day of November, 1937, in Book 919, -,'age 164, Official Records of Orange County, California, and more particularly described as follows to wit: Beginning at the most southerly corner of Lot 1, of Block A -35, as shown upon said `.p of Corona Del Mar; thence northeasterly along the southeasterly line of said Block A -35 to an intersection with the northwesterly prolongation of the southwesterly line of Lot A, as shown upon a map of Tract 1026, Miscellaneous Map Book 33, page 38, said Records of Orange County, California; thence southeasterly along said northwesterly prolongation to an intersection with a line lying southeasterly of, distant 80 feet from, and parallel to the northwesterly line of said Iris Avenue; thence southwesterly along said parallel line to an intersection with the southwesterly line of said Block A -36; thence northwesterly along said southwesterly line to its northwesterly prolongation to the point of beginning. Parcel 7: All that portion of the alley, 12 feet in width and Lots 9 and 1C of Block A -35 as shown upon a map of Corona Del Mar recorded in Miscellaneous Map Book 3, pages 41 and 42, Official Records of Orange Countyy California, an easement or Right of Way for highway purposes having been granted over said Lots 9 and 10 by Grant of Eas ,3ment to the City of Newport Beach by the Citizens National Trust and Savings Bank of Los Angeles, California, by Grant of Easement recorded the 27th day of November, 1937, in Book 919, Page 164, Official Record of Orange County, California, said land being part of a public dedicated street known as Wave Street, and more particularly described as follows to wit: Beginningat the most northerly corner of Lot 8 of Block A -35 as shown upon said map of Corona Del Mar; thence northeasterly in a straight line to the most westerly corner of Lot 12 of said Block A -35; thence southeasterly in a direct line to the most southerly corner of Lot 11 of said Block A -35; thence southwesterly in a straight line to the most easterly corner of Lot 1 of said Block A -35; thence northwesterly along the northeasterly line of Lots 1 to 8 inclusive, of said Block A -35 to the point of beginning. Parcel 9: All that portion of Narcissus Avenue (formerly known as 40th Avenue) 50 feet in width as shown upon a map of Corona Del Mar, recorded in Miscellaneous Map Book 3, pages 41 and 42, Records of Orange County, California and more particularly described as follows to wit: Beginning at the most southerly corner of Lot A of Tract 1257 as shown upon a map recorded in Miscellaneous Map Book 38, page 25, Records of Orange County; thence south- easterly along the prolongation of the southwesterly line of said Lot A to the intersection with the southeasterly line of said Narcissus Avenue; thence southwesterly along said W southeasterly line of Narcissus Avenue to the intersection with a line parallel to, and 5 feet southwesterly, measured at right angles, from the centerline of Shore Avenue (formerly Ocean Avenue) 50 feet in width, as shown upon said map of Corona Del Mar; thence northwesterly along said parallel line to the intersection with a line parallel to and 5 feet southeasterly, measured at right angles, from the centerline of said Narcissus Avenue; thence northeasterly in a direct line to the point of beginning.
