RESOLUTION NO. 4780
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING AN ALLOWANCE OF FIFTY
DOLLARS PER MONTH TO THE MAYOR IN ACCORDANCE WITH
SECTION 404 OF THE CHARTER.
WHEREAS, Section 404 of the Charter provides that the
City Council may provide by resolution for the payment to the
Mayor of an allowance not exceeding $50.00 per month in addition
to the payment authorized for expenses in Section 401 to reimburse
him for the additional demands made upon him and expenses incurred
by him in serving as Mayor; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of allowing such
payment to the Mayor:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the Mayor of said City be allowed
said sum of $50.00 per month to reimburse him for the additional
demands made upon him and expenses incurred by him in serving as
Mayor.
This Resolution was adopted by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting on the 28th day of
April, 1958, by the following vote, to wit:
