A RESO.LUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY

1%TH:�nAS, the City of Newport Beach requires engineering
services in connection with the preparation of plans and
tions for and the general supervision of the construction of an
access road from MacArthur Boulevard to Big Canyon Reservoir; and
,1HEREAS, Boyle Engineering are qualified engineers
willing to provide such services; and
IIHMEA , it is for the best interests of the City of
Newport Beach that a contract be entered into for the employment
of Boyle Engineering to perform such services for the City for a
fee of 8-21% of the cost of construction;
N042 T SORT;, BB IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute a
contract on behalf of the City of Newport Beach to employ Boyle
Engineering to prepare plans and specifications for and provide
general supervision of the construction of said access road from
MacArthur Boulevard to Big Canyon Reservoir.
This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting on the 24th day of
February, 1959, by the following vote, to wit:

I, MARGERY SCHROUDER, City Clerk of the City of Newport
Beach, California, do hereby certify that according to the records
of the City of Newport Beach filed and maintained in my office,
the foregoing Resoluttion No. 4930 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 24th day of February 9 1959, by the following
