RESOLUTION N0. 5157
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AMENDING SCHEDULE "A" ADOPTED BY
RESOLUTION NO. 5034 AND AMENDED BY RESOLUTION NO.
5058 RELATING TO CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 5034 was adopted pursuant to
Section 2200 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code and adopted
Schedules "A ", "B" and "C" setting forth the classification and
compensation plan of the City; and
WHEREAS, Schedule "A" was amended by Resolution No. 5058;
and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to further amend Schedule "A"
by deleting the class of Associate Engineer and Street Superintend-
ent at.salary range No. 36 and adding the class of City Engineer
and Street Superintendent at salary range No.' 41;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that effective January 25,
1960, Schedule "A" adopted by Resolution No. 5034 and amended by
Resolution No. 5058 is further amended by deleting the class of
Associate Engineer and.Street Superintendent at salary range No.
36 and adding the class of City Engineer and Street Superintendent
at salary range No. 41.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, except as specifically changed,
the provisions of Schedule "A" as adopted by Resolution No. 5034 and
amended by Resolution No. 5058 shall continue in full force and effect.
This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the City
of Newport Beach at a regular meeting on the 25th day of January,
1960, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Kingsley, Atkinson, Higbie,
Stoddard, Hart, Lorenz, Somers
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None

the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
