HomeMy WebLinkAbout5166 - Classification & Compensation0 0 WWC: c 2/1910 (12) 1 2 3' 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 i 11' 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 RESOLUTION N0. 5166 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH AMENDING SCHEDULE.B4A" ADOPTED BY RESOLUTION NO. 5034.AND AMENDED BY-RESOLUTIONS NOS. 5058, 5157 AND 5161 RELATING TO CLASSIFICA- TION AND COMPENSATION WHEREAS, Resolution No. 5034 was adopted pursuant to Section 2200 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code and adopted Schedules `HA ". "9" and "C" setting forth the classification and compensation plan of the City; and WHEREAS, Schedule "A" was amended by Resolutions Nos. 5 658, 5157 and 5161; and WHEREAS, it is necessary to further amend Schedule "A" by deleting the class of Lifeguard Captain at salary range No. 31 and adding the class of Lifeguard Dispatcher at salary range No. 25; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that effective February 23, 1960, Schedule P4A" adopted by Resolution No. 5034 and amended by Resolutions Nos. 5058, 5157 and 5161 is further amended by deleting the class of Lifeguard Captain at salary range No. 31 and adding the class of Lifeguard Dispatcher at salary range No. 25. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, except as specifically changed, the provisions of Schedule 40A" as adopted by Resolution No. 5034 and amended by Resolutions Nos. 5058, 5157 and 5161 shall continue in full force and effect. (2) Paid $15.00 monthly for attendance at two monthly drills and emergency calls not in excess of three hours each. Calls in excess of three hours each paid at $1.10 /hr. (3) Off -duty employees only. (4) Limited to Police and Fire personnel assigned to work as policemen or firemen during . .. their off -duty hours for private employers. (5) Limited to Police and Lifeguard personnel occupying permanent positions.
