RESOLUTION NO.. 5 355'
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR FURNISHING
AND DELIVERING CONCRETE CYLINDER PIPE
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Notice Inviting Bids for
furnishing and delivering concrete cylinder pipe in the City of
Newport Beach in accordance with the plans and specifications
heretofore adopted, bids were received on the 5th day of January,
1961, and publicly opened and declared; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
therefor is Smith -Scott Co... Inc.;
NO'S', THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of Smith-
Scott Co., Inc., in the amount of $8,235 be accepted and that the
contract for furnishing and delivering concrete cylinder pipe be
awarded to said bidder.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
hereby authorized and directed,to execute a contract in accord,
with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf of the City
of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed to furnish
an executed copy to the successful bidder.

regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
