RESOLUTION No. 5361
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIME CITY OF
NE"ORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR FURNISHING
AND DELIVERING CAST IRON VALVES AND FITTINGS
AREAS, pursuant to the Notice Inviting Bids for
furnishing and delivering cast iron valves and fittings in the
City of Newport Beach in accordance with specifications heretofore
adopted, bids were received on the 5th day of .January, 1961, and
publicly opened and declared; and
WHEREAS, it appears that'The Republic Supply - Company of
California is the lowest responsible bidder therefor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of The
Republic Supply Company of California in the amount of $3,447.31
be accepted and that the contract for furnishing and delivering
12 -inch valves and fittings be awarded to said bidder.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in accordance
with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf of the City
of Newport.Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed to furnish
an executed copy to the successful bidder.

the foregoing Resolution Noy 5361 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 14th day of February 19 61 by the following
vote, to wit:
