2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTI0N OF A
3 CONTRACT WITH GRIFFENHAGEN- KROEGER, INC., FOR
POSITION CLASSIFICATION SURVEY

5 WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council
6 of the City of Newport Beach a certain contract between the City
7 of Newport Beach and Griffenhagen- Kroeger, Inc., a corporation,
g management consultants, under which said firm is to perform certain
9 services in connection with a study of classified positions with
10 resulting class specifications and allocations that assure that
11 such positions are properly classified and assigned to appropriate
12 ranges in the City's existing salary schedule, and
13 AREAS, the City Council has considered the terms and
14 conditions of said agreement and found them to be reasonable and
15 equitable;
16, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said agreement be
17 approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
jail directed to execute the same on behalf of the City of Newport Beach
