2 A IMSOLUTION OF TIE CITY COUNCIL OF TI4 CITY
OF I+i TPORT BEACH ACCEPTING A GRANT OF EASEMENT

4 WHEREAS, Signal Oil and Gas Co., a corporation, Newport
5 Realty Corp., a corporation, and Frank I4. Ayres & Son, a corpora -
6 tion, as their respective interests do appear, have executed a
7 grant of easement granting to the City of Newport Beach a permanent
8 easement for a sewer pump station and appurtenances in and over the
9 following described real property in the City of Newport Beach,
10 County of Orange, State of California, to wit:
11 That portion of the South one -half of the Southwest quarter
of Section twenty, Township Six South, Range Ten hest,
12 S.B.B. & M. and that portion of the land allotted to
Andrew Glassell as described in the final }Decree of Far -
13 tition of the Rancho Santiago de Santa Ana, a certified
copy of which decree was recorded September 12, 1868 in
14 Book Q9B", page 410 of Judgements of the District Court
of the 17th Judicial District in and for Los Angeles
15 County, California, more particularly described as follows:
16 Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of 62nd
Street (formerly Cypress) and the Northerly lane of Tract
17 No. 772, as shown on a map thereof, recorded in Book 23,
pages 5 and 6 Kiscelleneous Maps, records of Orange
18 County, California; thence North 890 48' 00G1 West along
said Northerly line, a distance of 4.00 feet; thence
19 North 00 12' 0099 East at right angles to said Northerly
line, a distance of 27.00 feet; thence South 89° 48' 00"
20 East, a distance of 30.00 feet; thence South 0° 12' 00fi,
West, a distance of 27.00 feet to said Northerly line; .
21 thence North 890 48' 0064 West along said Northerly line,
22 a distance of 26.00 feet to the point of beginning;
23 II and
24 WHEREAS, it is to the interest of the City to accept
25 said grant of easement for such purposes;
26 NOGI, THEREFORL, BE IT 'RESOLVED by the City Council of
27 the City of Newport Beach that said grant of easement be accepted
28 and the City Clerk is authorized and directed to execute and attach
• 29 a cert € a.t� of acceptance and consent to the recording of said
30 grant 6f"easemerat in the County Recorder's office.
