A RESOLUTION. OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
1 NEWPORT BEACH COMMENDING THE NEWPORT HARBOR-
COSTA MESA BOARD OF REALTORS

3 WHEREAS, The California Real Estate Association annually con-
4 ducts an Achievement Book Contest to encourage a permanent record of the
5
accomplishments of local Real Estate Boards; and
6
7 WHEREAS, the Newport Harbor -Costa Mesa Board of Realtors, in
8 open competition with 37 entrants, has won the California Real Estate
9 Association Perpetual Award for Education and Professional Advancement,
10 together with possession of the massive silver trophy denoting the achievement;

12 WHEREAS, the Newport - Harbor -Costa Mesa Board of Realtors has
13
adopted and enforced a Board Policy of using no For Sale signs on any resi-
14
15 dential property, thereby eliminating the unsightly use of For Sale signs in
16 1 all residential areas;
1711 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
18 11the City of Newport Beach that the Newport Harbor -Costa Mesa Real Estate
19 Board be, and it is hereby, formally commended for its exceptional achieve-
20 ent, and this Council hereby expresses its appreciation of the contribution
21
of the Real Estate Board to the advancement of the City of Newport Beach.
