21 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
3 CI Y OFCNEWP CH FIXING THE SALARY CLERK

5 AREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
6 has the power and duty to establish the salary of the City Clerk;
7 and
8 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 5434 heretofore established the
9 salary of the City Clerk;
10 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Resolution No. 5434
11 be rescinded and that the salary of the City Clerk beginning
12 January 1, 1962, shall be $8,190 per fiscal year, payable in
13 monthly, semimonthly, or biweekly installments as is most con -
141 venient in the ordinary course of the preparation of the City's
15 . payroll.
