A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NZKPCRT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR ALLEY
PAVING BET&+SRN CORCNADO STREET AND FERNANDO
STREET AND BETWEEN BAY AVENUE AND _EDGEWATER
AVENUE
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Notice Inviting Bids for work
consisting of alley paving between Coronado Street and Fernando
Street and between Bay Avenue and Edgewater Avenue in the City of
Newport Beach, in accordance with the plans and specifications
heretofore adopted, bids were received on the 18th day of January,
1962, and publicly opened and declared; and
CREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
therefor is Stilly- Miller Contracting Company;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of Sully-
Miller Contracting Company in the amount of $2,969.15 be accepted
and that the contract for the construction work be awarded to said
bidder.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in accordance
with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf of the City
of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed to furnish
an executed copy to the successful bidder.
