RESOLUTION NO. 5548
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
IMIPORT BEACR APPROVING AY3 AGREEMENT AND GRA14T
CF EASZMENT WITH THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
IrREAS, the City operates a sewer system which serves
Tract No. 673, as shown on a map recorded in Miscellaneous Maps
Book 20, pages 17 and 18, and Tract No. 1116, as shown on a map
recorded in Miscellaneous Maps Book 36, pages 19 and 20, records
of Orange County, California; and
AREAS, in order to properly serve said area, it is
necessary that the City have an easement across Lot C of Tract
No. 673; and
WHEREAS, the State of California is the owner of said
Lot C; and
Wh%TEAS, the State has presented an agreement and ease-
ment under which the City would have an easement for the purpose
of constructing a sewer line across said Lot C westerly along the
extension of the lot line between Lots 123 and 125 in said Tract
No. 1116; and
VMREAS, the City Council has examined said agreement
and found the same to be acceptable to the'City ;.
N%Y0 TI'MREFORERa BE IT RESOLVED that said agreement and
grant of easement is approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are
hereby authorized and directed to execute the same on behalf of
the City of Newport Beach.
