A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL, OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT SZC13 CRUGING THE NAM OF VIA CENTRO
TO PIAZZA LIDO
WEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City has recom-
mended to the City Council the changing of the name of Via Centro
in the City of Newport Beach; and
tail 8I:.AS, Section 34091.1 of the Government Code author-
izes the legislative body to change the name of any city sheet by
adoption of a resolution; and
G7FMBEAS, after consideration of said recommendation, it
appears that it would be in the interests of the City and
to the public to change the name of Via Centro as hereinafter set
forth;
NOW, Tl-IEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City :Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the name of that certain street know,
as Via Centro lying between Via Koron and Piazza Lido, as shorn on
City of Newport Beach Planning Department Drawing No. L- 1070,
designated "planning Commission Street Name Change, Via Centro to
Piazza Lido09, a copy of which is attached hereto, marked Exhibit L0A'
and by this reference incorporated herein and made a part hereof,
be changed to Piazza Lido.
BE IT FU&RTM RESOLVED that the City Clerk is directed to
forward a certified copy of this resolution to the Board of Super-
visors of Orange County in accordance with the provisions of
Section 34092 of the Government Code.
