1 RESOLUTION NO. S-7
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR SEWER
3 REALIGNMENT IN CARNATION AVENUE BETWEEN SEAVIEW
AVENUE AND BAYSIDE DRIVE

5I WHEREAS, pursuant to the Notice Inviting Bids for work
6 consisting of sewer realignment in Carnation Avenue between Seavieh
7 Avenue and Bayside Drive in the City of Newport Beach, in accord -
8 ance with the plans and specifications heretofore adopted, bids
9 were received on the 23rd day of January, 1963, and publicly
10 opened and declared; and
11 WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
12 therefor is L. H. HENSON;
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of L. H.
141 Henson for Alternate B in the amount of $23,800 be accepted and
15 that the contract for the construction work be awarded to said
16 bidder.
17 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
18 hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in accordance
19 with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf of the City
20 of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed to furnish
21 an executed copy to the successful bidder.
22 ADOPTED this 28th day of January, 1963.
