2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING A GRANT OF EASEMENT

4 WHEREAS, Gladys L. Pate has executed a grant of easement II
5 granting to the City of Newport Beach a temporary construction
6 easement over the following- described real property in the City of
7 Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California, to wit:
8 That portion of Carnation Avenue (formerly 30th
Avenue) as shown on the Map of Corona del Mar,
9 recorded in Book 3, Pages 41 & 42 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California, described
10 as follows:
11 The Southwesterly 50 feet of the Southeasterly 9 feet
of the Northwesterly 15 feet of that portion of said
12 Carnation Avenue Northeasterly of the Northwesterly
prolongation of the Southwesterly line of Block 231,
13 of said Corona del Mar,
14 which easement shall terminate upon the completion of the construc-
15 tion work for which it was granted; and
16 TdHEREAS, it is to the interest of the City to accept
17 said grant of easement for such purposes;
18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
19 the City of Newport Beach that said grant of easement be accepted
20 and the City Clerk is authorized and directed to execute and attach
21 a certificate of acceptance and consent to the recording of said
22 grant of easement in the County Recorder's office at such time as
23 the Director of Public Works determines such recording to be
24 necessary,
