2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING A GRANT OF EASE °NT

4 WHEREAS, H. Floyd Brown has executed a grant of easement
5 granting to the City of Newport Beach a temporary construction
6 easement over the following- described real property in the City of
7 Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California, to wit:
8 That portion of Carnation Avenue (formerly 30th
Avenue) as shown on the Map of Corona del Mar,
9 recorded in Book 3, Pages 41 & 42 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California, described
10 as follows;
11 The Northeasterly 50 feet of the Southwesterly 100
feet of the Southeasterly 9 feet of the Northwesterly
12 15 feet of that portion of said Carnation Avenue
Northeasterly of the Northwesterly prolongation of
13 the Southwesterly line of Block 231, of said Corona
del Mar,

which easement
shall
terminate upon
the completion of the construc-
16
tion work for
which
it was granted;
and
17 WHEREAS, it is to the interest of the City to accept
18 said grant of easement for such purposes;
19 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
20 the City of Newport Beach that said grant of easement be accepted
21 and the City Clerk is authorized and directed to execute and attach
22 a certificate of acceptance and consent to the recording of said
23 grant of easement in the County Recorder's office at such time as
24i the Director of Public Works determines such recording to be
25 necessary.
