A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING A GRANT.OF EASEMENT
WHEREAS, James E. Ross and Violet C. Ross have executed
a grant of easement granting to the City of Newport Beach a.tempo-
rary construction easement over the following- described real
property in the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of
California, to wit:
That portion of Carnation Avenue (formerly 30th
Avenue) as shown on the Map of Corona del Mar,
recorded in Book 3, Pages 41 & 42 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California, described
as follows:
The Northeasterly 170 feet of the Southeasterly 9 feet
of the Northwesterly 15 feet of that portion of said
Carnation Avenue Southwesterly of the Northwesterly
prolongation of the Northeasterly line of Lot 18,
Block 231, of said Corona del Mar,
which easement shall terminate upon the completion of the construc-
tion work for which it was granted; and
WHEREAS, it is to the interest of the City to accept
said grant of easement for such purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that said grant of easement be accepted
and the City Clerk is authorized and directed to execute and attach
a certificate of acceptance and consent to the recording of said
grant of easement in the County Recorders office at such time as
the Director of Public Works determines such recording to be
necessary.
